Translucent
Cernit Translucent
Cernit Translucent is widely regarded as the most transparent polymer clay on the market, with a wider range of translucent colors than any competing brand. If you're creating gemstone effects, faux glass, resin-like cabochons, or luminous floral work, this is the clay serious artists reach for.
Colors Like Precious Gemstones
Amber, emerald, ruby, sapphire — Cernit Translucent colors capture the depth and richness of precious gemstones in a way no other polymer clay can match. The colors are vivid even in thin slices, and layers of different translucent shades create a naturally glowing, dimensional effect.

Working with Cernit Translucent
Cernit Translucent is a very soft, pliable clay — one of the softest in the Cernit range. This makes it exceptionally easy to condition and blend, but freshly produced clay may feel sticky or too soft straight out of the package. If that's the case, a brief leaching on plain paper will firm it up quickly without affecting color or transparency.
Bake at 265°F (130°C) for 30 minutes. After curing, Cernit retains a slight flexibility — so even thin translucent pieces won't be brittle.
