Darwi air-drying clay, well known for the fineness of its grain, is used for any modelling or sculpting work. This can be used to make small decorative items, jewelry, dolls, statuettes or even to repair some materials such as furniture.
It does not smell and does not stick to the hands, so the work stays pleasant. The clay is flexible and semi-elastic. It does not shrink when drying and is completely opaque.
Several clays adapt to your specific needs:

  • The Darwi Classic is white and medium-hard after drying. It can be tinted with paintings such as our painting Darwi Acryl. Available in 3 packs: 500gr and 1kg

  • The Darwi Terracotta is exactly like the classic, but its colour terracotta. Available in 500gr and 1kg

  • The Darwi Beton is exactly like the classic, but its colour beton. Available in 500gr and 1kg

  • The Darwi Roc is even harder and more resistant than the classic clay after drying. It is used for more delicate work. It is very resistant to shocks once dry. Your creation can fall without breaking thanks to the hardness which is similar to the marble! Once dry, the clay is slightly ivory. Sand it for a whiter result.
If you plan to make a complicated sculpture with many fine parts, we recommend using a wire frame that will serve as a structure for the clay when still wet until it fully dries. Available in 1kg pieces.

  • The Darwi Kids is more flexible than its cousin the Darwi Classic. It is especially formulated for use by little ones. It is totally safe for children. This clay is also suitable for manual rehabilitation. Available in 500gr or 1kg breads.

  • The Darwi Extra-light: still in the range of self-hardening clays, the extra-light stands out because it is extremely light. It is so flexible that it can be used as a structural paste on a painting canvas. This clay, with a white colour, allows to make unbreakable magnets, floating objects on the water (with a double layer of our Darwi varnish), mobile, jewelry and voluminous but very light pendants. The modelling clay is suitable for moulding or delicate modelling such as, for example, impression taking. An Darwi extra-light piece weighs 160gr.
